I was raised up by my Grandmother and she taught me a lot about our traditional ways.

 

Most of all she taught me how to run on snowshoes.She was the best coach and I gave her credit for making me a champion snowshoer

 

I taught my son Jordan how to run on snowshoes and he's a natural runner.

 

I raced all over the north and I entered in a 100 mile snowshoe race in Anchorage,Alaska back in 1993.

 

I won the race by one second.
